I wanted to make a film I would enjoy, as simply as possible. The script is adapted from *The Prophet* (1925) by Khalil Gibran. I rewrote many of the poems entirely, and left others as they were. With one exception, (the drone footage at 10:35 for Pleasure) all footage was filmed within a 24 hour period the weekend of October 23-24,2021. The soundtrack was made possible by the brilliant efforts of Noah Estrella, with much help from Connor Buchanan on December 17 and 18, 2021. I'm especially grateful to my friend Lauryn Graham for giving me her copy of The Prophet and inspiring me to make this film. This film was entered in the inaugural Ellijay Makerspace Fall Film Festival in 2021. .
